Offering peak performance even when under heavy loads, a redesigned engine allows for a wider usable RPM range. Husqvarna have also been able to increase cutting capacity by 12 percent (compared to previous models at this cc level), resulting in a chainsaw that’s ideal for more efficient operation even when working with longer guide bars.

Thanks to the AutoTune system, the engine is automatically set and performance optimised, taking into account the conditions in your working environment. This is also an ideal saw for working on long fibre wood, with improved chip ejection thanks to a new clutch cover allowing you to avoid clogging.

The 572 XP is not only full of the latest technological innovations, but is also built to last through the toughest jobs. It utilises a new Air Injection system that allows you to work for full days with consistently high performance and less engine wear. 98 percent of incoming dust is effectively filtered out. Thanks to the state-of-the-air filtration system whereby a large surface heavy duty felt filter is in place, a longer life and healthier engine can be expected.

All this is combined with a new cooling system, which has been optimised to give improved reliability and offer further benefits to the engine’s lifespan, while the engine itself is also actively protected from over-revving.

Comfortable & easy to handle

Boasting a better power-to-weight ratio than any Husqvarna saw with a similar displacement, the 572 XP weighs just 6.6 kg despite the powerful 4.3 kW engine. Low vibrations also make this model a pleasure to handle, with the vibrations generated by the engine and cutting equipment dampened to protect your body and reduce fatigue. A rubber handle inlay gives a safer, more comfortable grip, while the front handle bar located 10 mm closer to the centre of gravity affords improved control.

Thanks to a flip up fuel cap that can be easily opened and secured even when wearing thick gloves, plus a transparent fuel level indicator, you’ll never be caught short of petrol. This model also boasts a distinct felling mark robust enough to outlast the saw itself.
