An easy-starting 18 inch chainsaw from Husqvarna.
The 445 chainsaw is a great all-rounder that's perfect for dealing with small to medium diameter timber, firewood and farm or estate maintenance.
A high performance chainsaw for all-round use
Husqvarna's 445 has a 18 inch / 45 cm bar length, plus a 45.7 cc engine with X-Torq, making it an ideal saw for small to medium timber, as well as cutting firewood and dealing with general farm and estate maintenance tasks. X-Torq gives excellent benefits to fuel consumption and emission levels, while still ensuring this is a powerful saw. When out working, felling marks allow you to increase your accuracy for more efficient operation.
Robust & easy to look after
As with all of Husqvarna's machines, the 445 is built to last. This particular model has a forged three-piece crankshaft, offering maximum durability for the toughest applications. Taking care of your chainsaw is also made easier, with a snap-lock cylinder cover making changing spark plugs and cleaning simpler, and a quick-release air filter allowing fast cleaning and replacement. The fuel level is visible and straightforward to top-up, courtesy of a flip-up tank cap.
Comfortable & easy to use
Husqvarna's innovative SmartStart and LowVib technologies are included with this machine, making it quicker to start, with less effort required, and using anti-vibration dampeners to spare your arms and hands while working. The choke and stop controls have been combined for easier operation, and an inertia chain brake adds an extra layer of safety (stopping the saw if a sudden upward movement is detected). To change the chain tension is also kept simple, with the tensioner helpfully mounted on the machine's side.
