Knipex Snipe Nose Side Cutting Pliers 200mm are made for gripping, aligning and installation work and for cutting. Knipex primarily manufactures the forged and oil-hardened snipe nose side cutting pliers for gripping, alignment and installation work. They deliver a second function in these areas that is important for assembly work. Their cutting edges are shaped to produce a bite type cut. Thanks to the induction hardening of the cutting edges to approx. 61 HRC, cutting capacities of up to 2.2 Ø mm are produced on hard wire. Inherently stable when twisted – particularly strong when cutting. The precision tips of the pliers made of vanadium electric steel are elastic. This allows the manual force deployed to be well measured – forcefully where necessary. The cutting edges are near the joint which is advantageous for the transmission of force. The cutting capacities of Ø 3.2 mm achieved for medium-hard wire and Ø 2.2 mm for hard wire are impressive for professional users. It is possible to reach areas in engine or machine rooms that are difficult to access. The very long tips of the Knipex 2612200 make it possible to grip low-lying components accurately and powerfully.
